CHROTANA: Barbarian country in northwest Khamonia, known for its mountains and extensive forests. It is a wild and sparsely populated country with no central government or leadership. The inhabitants can be divided into three distinct groups: humans, dwarves, and cruims. Humans constitute roughly one-third of the population, with dwarves accounting for about ten percent, the rest being made up of cruims and various minorities. The humans and resident dwarves all like to call themselves Chrotanans, and they are a fiercely independent lot who resist any attempts of subjugation by neighbour kingdoms. Ximeron spends the first six years of his life in Chrotana hamlet called Kaikan.
