Born 1966 in Jutland, Denmark, Lars went to high school in Asnaes, Odsherred, Zealand before embarking on a short career in the financial sector. In 1991 he attended courses in astronomy and physics at the University of Copenhagen. Suffering a breakdown due to stress, the academic path was substituted with a literary career since writing had always been his first love. In 1996 he published his first book, 'Swordsong', and in 2013 he launched his own publishing company, LS Books & Games. The company closed in 2020 because Lars wanted to focus more of his energies on his own writings. Thus, he is now an independent writer and translator. He has a cottage in the small town of Egebjerg in idyllic Odsherred, Zealand, Denmark. For the last couple of years, Lars and his girlfriend Lotte Andersen, who is a professional proof reader, have been co-working on the Ximeron - Warrior of Worlds-project and other projects like it.
